Huber Agrar GbR recently held an official unveiling ceremony for its newly acquired Terra Dos 5 HD. With this new flagship model, the contracting company continues its long-standing relationship with HOLMER. Since the company was founded in 1990, the Terra Dos 5 HD is already its eighth HOLMER machine.

However, the history of this partnership goes back much further. Huber Agrar GbR has been using HOLMER technology for root crop harvesting since 1977. Konrad Huber, too, has had close ties to HOLMER for many years. He has been operating HOLMER machines as a driver since 1983 and now boasts an impressive 43 years of harvesting experience. He had already gained his first experience with HOLMER technology earlier in his career as a driver for a beet-harvesting cooperative.

Over the years, not only has the technology evolved, but so has the business. Today, the contracting firm is managed by the third generation of the family, Christoph Huber, and continues to rely on HOLMER technology. With the Terra Dos 5 HD, the next generation of HOLMER beet harvesters is now in use.

Currently, two HOLMER machines—a Terra Dos 4 and a Terra Dos 5 HD—are in operation during the beet harvest. This reflects the Huber contracting business’s decades-long history with HOLMER, a relationship shaped by trust, shared experiences, technological advancements, and the evolution of agriculture.
